First of all, congratulations and well done for being selected to be part of this exciting glamorous team! This
is your introductory pack, to give you all of the details you will need in order to form a successful partnership
with DollyGlam.
How DollyGlam works
Your profile is uploaded to the booking site where the public can choose the location, service they require,
provider of choice and your available date/time.
There are 3 tiers of Dollies:
1. Silver (our most popular)
Typically in this category clients will be booking experienced makeup artists & hair stylists at the entry
level where prices are at their most competitive.
2. Gold
Mid level Dollies at your service for all events required. Here clients will be matched with experienced
makeup artists and stylists who dabble in the TV and celebrity industry also.
3. Diamond
Typically in the category you will be booking the elite makeup artists & hair stylists who's experience
revolves around the celebrity and showbiz space. More time is allocated & prices may reflect this.
All our Dollies are carefully selected to fall under one of the above categories during the application process.
If you feel you need to be included in a different tier, please contact your Account Manager. Your ratings and
feedback from clients are reflected by the tier you're allocated to. Therefore, if you're unable to deliver a
Diamond service for example, the client may decide to leave feedback to reflect this. We aim to be as
accurate as we can when placing Dollies in the respective tiers.
Now you know how we roll at DollyGlam, let's begin the journey!
Some basic techy stuff… We will need you to become familiar with our booking system. This will be your best
friend going forward.
1. Your Portal
Log onto the portal here: www.dollyglam.com/login - your username and password will be provided by
your DollyGlam account manager.
Here you will be presented with your personal portal where you can access your calendar, set your
availability and update your bio etc.
2. Setting Available Slots
It is extremely important you set your available times for clients as they will see this on the
booking page. If you're not available at 9am Mondays for example, make sure this is set correctly or you will
be letting down clients when having to cancel their bookings. Only set your availability to the days and times
that you can commit to. You can change/amend these times at any time. Be sure to change this when you
have booked a holiday for example.
Once that has been completed please then block out times and dates you cannot work for the next 3 months
(could be due to private bookings, holidays and other personal reasons). This prevents client from cancelling.
3. Locations You're Prepared to Cover
Here you can select which locations you're able to cover so when a client picks their location on the
booking page, you will be included/excluded from their selection. It's important to select only the areas you
are prepared to travel to as it's a DollyGlam policy that we do not charge for travel expenses as we believe
may downgrade the experience for potential clients.
note: click on the ‘eye’ to include or exclude each of your covered locations for the booking page
4. Calendar Sync
You can even sync this calendar with your personal calendar, so all bookings you receive are integrated
with your smartphone calendar. Just click on ‘Connect new calendar’.Hey Presto!
That’s it….!
What you need to do now:
In order to complete the process, GO TO THE FINAL STEP and we can then ‘go live’ with your profile.
Once you've happy with your DollyGlam settings and you’ve let us know, you can sit back and wait for the
bookings to arrive. You'll receive a text message and email once a client books a service with you containing
all the details for the booking. If in doubt you may contact them for further information. Because DollyGlam
pride ourselves on being organised, you'll also receive a text and email reminder before the booking.
Whist representing DollyGlam, our best practice is only one of high standards, so it's now over to you to be
the best Dolly you can be!
